This radio controlled nitro powered 'trainer' plane is concentrated on learning to fly. That's why the Calmato is factory-finished to the extent it is. This 40 class trainer’s weight gives it the airborne stability for calm flight and control under many conditions, including wind. Exhibiting ideal characteristics for beginner flight, the Calmato uses superior quality components, not used by other trainers and is fully factory assembled. For example, no epoxy is needed to attach the centre divided main wing, each horn is already attached, the engine compartment has been coated in fuel resistant paint and the fuel tank lines are all laid out. An RC plane with this level of attention to detail hasn’t been readily available until the Calmato - and at an unbelievably low price. The dream of learning RC plane flight has never been so easy to reach - with the Kyosho Calmato! Details: Almost all components are factory-assembled. Takes the trouble and worry out of building with its attention to detail and high quality construction. Vertical tail fin is factory-fitted. No gluing of the horizontal tail wing required as it already bolted on. Includes linkage rods. Also equipped with moving nose gear. All linkage rods and guide pipes are processed to fit the Calmato. Aileron servo bed is glued down to its position to avoid any left/right bias. Lightweight but hard finish. Covered in colour film for a vivid colour scheme.
