The new Team Losi 1/36th scale Micro Baja measures in at a little more than eleven centimetres long and weighs less than 100 grams. This little gem has the honour, along with the Micro-T, of being the smallest race inspired, fully proportional off-roader in existence!
Based on the original VW beetle, the Baja bugs were a ‘no holds barred’ desert racer originating in the late sixties. With massive ride height, suspension travel and heavily chopped and modified front and rear ends to minimise any overhang, these true off-road racers ruled the sand dunes!
The Micro Baja calls upon this classic styling as well as the world-renowned quality of Team Losi’s race proven design background.
Featuring fully independent sprung suspension, rear differential and slipper clutch the powerful pre-installed electric motor’s power is put to the spiked rear tyres with the same control and poise as the larger models.
A narrow ribbed race tyre sits up front upon the new mirror finish chrome wheels.
Away from the chassis detail the Micro Baja comes complete with a fully proportional electronic speed control and sub-micro steering servo.
A Losi pistol grip 27AM radio system with adjustable trims has interchangeable crystals so frequency clashes between friends wishing to race between the table legs needn’t be a problem. The 4.8volt Nickel Metal Hydride battery is simply charged through the included fast-peak charger, itself powered by eight alkaline AA batteries, all included in the box! In fact there is nothing else that you need, just open the box, charge it up and go scare the cat!
